Encouraging Little Learners

The St. Charles City-County Library recognizes that everyone has been affected by COVID, including the youngest in our community. Little ones have not been able to play with other kids at the park or attend story times at the Library. Opportunities have been few and far between for in-person learning and interactive play for kids this year. That is why the Library provides special resources just for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers that are accessible even while branches are open only for curbside services.

Are you Ready to Read with Us?

The days are a little shorter and it’s getting chilly outside. Maybe it’s time for a good book - that all of us can read together! Students and readers of all ages are invited to take part in a shared community reading experience, happening right now at the Library. We are pleased to partner with area high schools to offer a One Read initiative featuring The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America’s Shining Women, a true account by Kate Moore.
