The New Melle Festival Parade was held Saturday, June 12 and had a great turnout. The theme for the 2021 Parade was “Happy 200th Birthday Missouri.”

Workhorse Construction Group won 1st place in the business category with their float depicting a scene from “Little House on the Prairie.” Boone Country 4H won 1st place in the non-profit category with their float celebrating Missouri’s birthday with a giant birthday cake and candles.

Serving as Grand Marshall this year was Fr. Tom Miller, from Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.
