Ribbon Cutting October 15th at Bodywise Pilates in New Melle

The New Melle Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting at Bodywise Pilaties, Suite 102 in the New Melle Town Square (30 W. Hwy. D), on Tuesday, October 15th. The ribbon cutting was part of a grand opening celebration which included free demonstrations, refreshments, and an offer for a free introductory lesson.

Studio owner, Beverly Beseda is a certified Pilates Instructor and earned her 500-hour teacher training certificate through Master Michele Larrson, Core Dynamics in Sanga Fe, New  Mexico. She also studied under Mary Ellen Bryan, Central Studio STL. Beverly graduated from Athens State University with a BS in education. Her interest in Pilates began while taking a mat class in Huntsville, AL. Beverly said she is dedicated to teaching the benefits of Pilates and loves seeing her clients reach their individual goals. 

Several members from the New Melle Chamber of commerce were on hand as well as New Melle Mayor Richard West and Alderwoman Janet Karrenbrock to welcome the business, thank Beverly and her husband, George, for their investment in New Melle, and wish them well as they embark on this new endeavor. 

Classes are now enrolling, Monday through Saturday, and private lessons are available by appointment. plaque commemorating the grand opening to Beverly and George Beseda.
