This event is in organized in partnership with New Melle Sports and Recreation.

All proceeds support collegiate and trade school scholarships for local students.

Ticket sales to this annual event are open to the community and friends of the community. It is an evening spent with fun-loving people.

A meal is provided with an open bar, music, dancing, games and entertainment.

Proceeds from previous years have been used for Christmas lights for the City of New Melle, and other miscellaneous community efforts.

Each year, prior to the event, the chamber organization designates which initiative the proceeds will support.

The public is invited to observe art unfolding before their eyes each day at “paint-out” events in a variety of locations, from local wineries to historical sites, with special days in surrounding towns. Over 100 artists will be scattered about the small towns of Defiance, New Melle, and Augusta, capturing and recreating the rolling hills of wine country, the Missouri River bluff, prosperous farmland, the Katy Trail, and historic structures.

Each day, completed art will be on display and available for sale at the Augusta Harmonie-Verein Hall as well as on location at each special event. 

This annual celebration is held at Sugar Creek winery for Chamber members and significant others. It serves as the December membership meeting as well.

The Chamber provides food and drinks for the evening and it is open to friends of the Chamber, in an effort to build participation. 

Many community volunteers help us throughout the year and we take this event as an opportunity to properly thank them.

The local businesses and chamber members sponsor and volunteer at this free event. It will be held at New Melle Sports & Rec.

There are three age groups for the children's egg hunts. Some eggs have a number that corresponds with hundreds of prizes offered, including bicycles, balls, scooters, beach toys, etc.

There is also an adult hunt immediately following the children's hunt. It has an entry fee of $10-all proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Prizes for the adult hunt include alcohol, wine, restaurant gift certificates, etc. 

This event takes place in the TBD and is a special dinner for the educational scholarship recipients and their families. All Chamber members are invited to attend, photos are taken of the awards ceremony, presentations are made, and the candidates share an introduction as well as their plans for the future.

This free event takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Local businesses sponsor food booths, s'mores, hot chocolate, a magician show, balloon artists, face painters, cookie decorating, visits with Santa, a photo booth, cookies and punch, letters to Santa, walking Christmas Trees, Christmas carolers, hundreds of luminaries, Teddy Bears for Trevor (a local cause for Children's Hospital patients), and a canned goods drive. Santa even arrives via fire truck!
